Guide Bridge MOT & Service Centre is owned and run by husband and wife team DEREK AND JAN LORD and staffed by highly trained mechanics capable of dealing with all your motoring needs. Derek has over 40years experience in the Motor Trade. The vast majority of our clientele are returning customers from the Tameside region and stand as a testament to the value and level of service we provide.
Guide Bridge MOT & Service Centre also provides quick turnaround fleet servicing to small and large businesses in and around Tameside. Designed with your business in mind, and because we understand how important cars are to the effective running of a business; Fleet cars are given a priority service, whereby we commit to returning them within the day.

More recently, we have taken part in a new documentary called Business in the Blood due to be aired on BBC2 in late January 2012. The programme is looking at family businesses and how they work. As 6 out of the 9 people who work at Guide Bridge MOT are family the BBC was keen to work with us. Our show is one of a series of six. The presenter of the show Alex Polizzi who herself has a family business is passionate about what she does and she provided us with enormous support to make the changes to the way we work.......... Look out for the programme its sure to be good TV!!
